Hermes on Android via the signed Termux APT package. Signed repo, bundled runtimes, pkg upgrades.
Hermes installs on Android from the signed Termux APT repository, not the desktop installer. Do not pipe the curl one-liner into bash here. The package carries aarch64 (arm64-v8a) builds with Python, Node.js, npm, uv, ripgrep and ffmpeg bundled, so nothing compiles on the device. Install with curl + gnupg, a verified key fingerprint (C572 B5FD D1A2 9CCF A9A9 12B6 840B 0848 E139 156D), then pkg update && pkg install hermes-agent. Two channels ship: stable and canary, signed with the same key. Updates go through pkg upgrade; hermes update refuses an APT-owned install. Voice mode, wake word, browser automation, desktop computer-use and Docker are not part of this target. The gateway runs in a session or with nohup, and Android suspends background processes. Warning: the package is currently broken upstream with a fix in progress.
